Lamp Podcast, recorded 19/8/10 @ the Vortex Jazz club, Dalston (The Train Chronicles, The Man Who Laughs and Duke Garwood)
Well it was a blast, the music was incredible and I got a signed copy of a Duke Garwood record -- all in all our first ever Lamp session was a success and definitely left us and the other listeners there yearning for more. Anyway for those of you who couldn't make it and for those of you who did and want to relive the night, - you're in luck - we have finally manged to compress the music from the whole event into one hour - which was no mean feat with the music being so amazing and all. DAM-FUNK for NONSENSE, compiled October 2009
In October last year during his European tour, we (NON-SENSE) managed to rope Dam-Funk into putting together a compilation CD of some of his favourite joints to distribute at his live event at Plastic People. I think we pressed about 400 of those CD's and they all flew on the night - well, here it is again available for download . . . . . thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyable

J.B ON THE SPOT compiled by ANDREW WESTBURY (ELDICA RECORDS, DALSTON) November 09 Andrew is the biggest James Brown nut I know so I wasn't the least bit surprised when he handed me over this mix. This is definitely not the typical, run of the mill James Brown comp with the same ol' tracks but instead includes some of his earliest, rarest and unreleased cuts. Very refreshing... simply because I haven't heard most of this before. Visit Andrews record store (Eldica Records) for your fill.
